Bills I'll be following today (Updated)
As I mentioned on Friday, ABC News 20/20 is expected to film debate in House State Agencies on HB1035, formerly known as the "Edifice Complex Prevention Act" by Rep. Dan Greenberg. Update: Both my amendment and the bill itself were tabled. I'll move to put HB1035 back on the calendar at Friday's State Agencies Committee meeting so that it can get a vote.

SB235 is set for a special order of business in Senate Judiciary. I am the House sponsor of this bill, which overhauls the District Court system in Arkansas. I also have two other bills scheduled to be heard in this committee that have already cleared the House (HB1130 and HB1362). Update: SB235 took up the entire committee meeting, and the committee adjourned before a vote could be held (Sen. Thompson was held up in House Rules, where he successfully presented SB16 -- see below).
In House Rules, we'll consider one of the proposals enacting bingo enabling legislation (HB1426) as well as Sen. Thompson's ethics reform bill (SB16). Update: Both the bingo bill and Sen. Thompson's ethics bill received a "Do Pass" from the committee.
