Governor discusses roads, taxes on KARN

The governor appeared on his monthly "Ask the governor" radio show yesterday on KARN, and although the topics were wide-ranging, the coverage this morning is centered around the governor's discussion with a caller who expressed concern about road damage on some north Arkansas county roads from large trucks and other equipment used for drilling in the Fayetteville Shale play. The governor said state, county and city officials have been having ongoing meetings with natural gas company representatives in an effort to find a way to pay for road damages.
