List of declared independent candidates

10 people declared their intent to appear on the general election ballot as an independent candidate this fall in Arkansas. The deadline to file notice as an independent passed on Monday pursuant to Act 1049 of 2007. These candidates must now gather the necessary number of signatures and submit them by May 1 to qualify. All other unfiled candidates must either attempt to gain ballot access through the Green Party or pursue a write-in campaign. Here's the list:
