Update on the 39th Infantry Brigade Combat Team

I posted a note yesterday about the 39th Infantry Brigade's preparation for deployment. A tornado hit Camp Shelby late last night, and 14 soldiers were admitted to a local hospital although most were for minor injuries. The 39th is made up of Arkansans from 57 communities across the state. I visited with Rep. Jeff Wood this morning, and the tornado hit about 150 yards from his bunk.
