Williams execution halted

From Governor Beebe's office:

The ruling made by the Arkansas Supreme Court on Thursday afternoon will prevent the State of Arkansas from proceeding with the execution of Frank Williams, Jr., ADC# SK-924, on Tuesday, September 9. Governor Mike Beebe will authorize the Department of Correction to stop any additional proceedings in this case pending further rulings and/or orders by the courts.
