All ballots counted in race for House District 38

With all absentee ballots counted in the House District 38 race, John Edwards leads Kelly Eichler by a vote of 7,044 to 6,970. He picked up three votes in the counting of the absentee votes. The Pulaski County Election Commission will now review all provisional ballots cast to determine whether voters who cast them were eligible to do so. Arkansas law also provides provides for military ballots received within 10 days of an election to count.

Update (Thursday): Eichler is considering asking for a recount, per today's Democrat-Gazette.
