Salute to veterans

Thank you, veterans. I enjoy freedoms each day due to the commitment and sacrifices made by you and your families. That includes my dad (U.S. Army, served in Vietnam) and both my grandfathers (U.S. Army, maternal grandfather remained stateside due to a glass eye and paternal grandfather served in Pacific Theatre and in N. Africa in WWII).

The Arkansas Department of Veterans Affairs Veterans Day ceremony will take place at 11:00 a.m. this morning in the 2nd floor rotunda of the State Capitol.
