Sotomayor confirmed

Sonia Sotomayor becomes the first Hispanic on the United States Supreme Court today. She was confirmed by a vote of 68-31. Sen. Kennedy had expressed his support for Sotomayor but was not present for the vote because of his battle with brain cancer.
