There you are, Parker
HCR1016 was adopted with a unanimous vote today in the morning hour. Yeah, I got lots of ridicule and criticism on this one, but I'd do it again. No state documents will reflect this change -- it's merely a declaration and gesture for Parker, who has been active in Arkansas politics since joining my grandfather's congressional staff in 1948.
This state needs more like him -- I know of no one more committed to preserving our culture, history, and identity as a state and as a people. If this is his life mission, then I'm there to help him see it through.
