I'm honored to receive this year's Legislative Award by the regional Domestic Violence Prevention, Inc. Here's a picture of me with DVP Executive Director Gayle Martin at tonight's banquet, where we heard courageous testimonials from domestic violence survivors. You can't receive an award like this without acknowledging the hard work of Rep. Dawn Creekmore, the legislative leader in this arena.
