Little Rock campaign receptions today
• 11:30 a.m.: State Rep. Mike Burris (D-Malvern)
• 5:00 p.m.: Pulaski County Clerk Pat O'Brien
• 5:30 p.m.: Judge Alice Lightle
Burris and O'Brien are running for re-election and are currently unopposed. Lightle is a Little Rock environmental court judge and is seeking an open Little Rock criminal court judgeship. The seat is currently held by Judge Lee Munson, who is retiring. Other contenders for this seat include Ernest Sanders and Hugh Finkelstein. Sanders is a hearing officer on the state parole board, and Finkelstein is a deputy prosecuting attorney for Pulaski County.
