NALIT conference in Louisville, Kentucky
I'm sitting on a panel tomorrow at the 2008 Professional Development Seminar of the National Association of Legislative Information Technology in Louisville. Since legislators and legislative staff are increasingly using new technology to communicate and collaborate with constituents (and with each other), we'll discuss the roles and responsibilities of legislative IT staff in supporting and developing technology to keep up, and how these tools can best be used in a legislative environment. It's a quick trip. I'm flying out this afternoon (on my own dime) after speaking at a local luncheon on Hunger Awareness Month, and I'll return tomorrow night.
