The Independent Childrens Defense Network is sponsoring a candidate forum tonight at the Terry Library (Hinson and Napa Valley in WLR) beginning at 7:00 pm. Both candidates in the race for 6th Judicial District, 11th Division Circuit Court (Juvenile) have been invited, and both have ties to southern Arkansas. Melinda Gilbert is originally from Dierks, and Cathi Compton is the daughter of Bob Compton, who practiced law for 50 in El Dorado. Cathi's married to Judge Bill Wilson, who began his law practice here in Texarkana. Here are their tv commercials:
