Highway Commission advances stimulus projects

Roby Brock posts a report from yesterday's meeting of the Highway Commission, where commissioners advanced 103 projects using proceeds from the stimulus package. Included in the report is $40,000,000 for Miller County for I-49 and Hwy. 82 projects. $18,000,000 was funded towards the 430-630 interchange in Pulaski County, which is widely considered to be among the state's top one or two priorities. In all, the commission advanced projects of 230 miles in length at a cost of over $421 million.
