Today in House Judiciary: 47 bills on the active agenda
We have 55 bills on the agenda for today's meeting of the House Judiciary committee (47 on the active agenda). Today's agenda doesn't include any of the 43 bills filed and sent to us yesterday. That means we'll have 98 bills (plus what makes its way over from the Senate) to deal with for the rest of the session in this committee. Shell bills are automatically being moved to the deferred calendar in order to avert mass amendments and the running of them on the same day. I'll update this post in a bit with individual bills being considered in today's 10:00 committee meeting.
