KARK provides MMA perspective on regulation of combative sports -- UPDATE

MMA events are growing more rapidly in Arkansas than any of the other combative sports. HB1785 would give the Arkansas Athletic Commission the authority to regulate and monitor the more than 75 MMA events that take place throughout the state annually. As of now, they don't have to be notified of the events and can't inspect the events for safety precautions and can't enforce their own rules at these events.
