New Democratic Party of Arkansas Chairman: David Pryor
It's still subject to confirmation by the state committee (like that's going to be a problem), but Governor Beebe has asked former governor and U.S. Senator David Pryor to complete Bill Gwatney's term as chairman of the Democratic Party of Arkansas.
"I am honored that Senator Pryor has agreed to once again serve our state and our party," said Beebe. "He is the ideal person to lead our party during this key time of transition and carry forward the initiatives and legacy of our friend Bill Gwatney."
