First day of school

Arkansas-side schools started yesterday, but Camille's preschool class didn't start until this morning. Here's her picture this morning, compared to last year's first day (below). Looks like she's getting the hang of it.

The Texarkana Gazette covers TASD's first day of school in this article that ran in today's edition. TASD is utilizing a new curriculum alignment this year called TIA (Total Instructional Alignment). All district teachers were trained this summer so that kids who transfer from one campus to another will be in the same place as other classes within the district.
